Why isn’t my hair shiny?

Why should I use hair oil?
Hair oils help strengthen hair, leaving it softer and shinier. In addition, they protect hair lengths from aggressive external factors. Elixir Ultime protects hair from damage caused by heat styling tools.
How much hair oil should I use?
The required amount of oil is 1-2 drops, depending on the length, texture, thickness and condition of your hair. The secret is to apply one dose at a time and spread the oil evenly. It is better to start with a smaller amount and, if necessary, add product.
Should I use Elixir Ultime only on the lengths of the hair or can I also apply it to the scalp?
Elixir Ultime is designed to be applied only to the lengths and ends of the hair, to enhance the shine of the hair, seal split ends and control frizz. We do not recommend using it directly on the scalp. At Kérastase, we have developed other formulas specifically for scalp care.
Should the oil be applied to wet or dry hair?
It depends on the desired result: Applying the oil to wet hair means less shine, but helps with detangling & heat protection before blow-drying. On dry hair, it offers more intense shine and better frizz protection.
